ARTIST STATEMENT

My work is rooted in my never-ending curiosity of the world – the earth itself and everything that influences it. Visually exploring the current psychological state of the human being, human images and references to technology juxtapose to address contemporary cultural issues. The work creates a balance of beauty and awareness, even when observing the ecological disruption or political despair. I acknowledge the power of the formal structure of the world while exploring the beauty inherent in the human experience.
